What should I do if my customer wants to pay by card but I don’t have an EFTPOS terminal?

For drivers who don’t have an EFTPOS terminal, Marcel provides a free payment link, granting them access to all Marcel journeys requiring “on-board payment”.

To access this link, drivers have two options:

• Directly on their phone > the customer must then enter their bank card numbers on the driver’s phone.
• Sending the payment link to the customer’s phone > the customer enters their bank card numbers on their own phone.

As soon as payment has gone through, the “remaining balance” button changes to “paid”, and the journey can begin.
